Posing as one of the most exciting Billboard 200 weeks of the year so far, this week comes with new interesting developments on the US Official Albums chart – The Billboard 200 Chart. This week’s Top 10 sees history being rewritten with Taylor Swift’s massive 8th studio album, ‘folklore‘. Logic bows out with yet another top 3 project and a first top 10 album for young rapper The Kid Laroi.

#10 – Fine Line (Harry Styles)
- Units Sold: 31,000 Units
- Last Week’s Position: #9
- Peak: #1 (2 Weeks)
Fine Line is proving to be a massive album for Harry Styles. Fine Line left the top 10 for a while earlier this year after staying at #1 for two consecutive weeks but re-surged up the charts after the radio and video release of ‘Watermelon Sugar‘, it’s planning on staying a while too as it manages one more week within the Billboard 200 top 10 with an impressive 31k units sold this week. Altogether, it has sold a combined 1,488,000 units since release.
#9 – Hollywood’s Bleeding (Post Malone)
- Units Sold: 33,000 Units
- Last Week’s Position: #7
- Peak: #1 (5 Weeks)
Hollywood’s Bleeding is the Morgan Freeman of albums on this year’s Billboard 200. The album is showing no signs of backing out as it is 5 weeks away from spending a combined one year in the Top 10 – It has spent 47 weeks so far. A weekly sale of 33,000 Units sees it remain the longest charting album in this Week’s Top 10 and Post Malone’s second longest running album in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 (still behind beerbongs & bentleys). The album has also coughed up an amazing 3,223,000 units sale since release.
#8 – F*CK LOVE (The Kid LAROI)

The Kid Laroi scores BIG! The 16-year old Australian rapper scores his first ever entry in the Billboard 200 in the Top 10 as his debut album, ‘F*CK LOVE‘ sold 40K units in the US. This makes him one of the youngest top 10 hitters in the #Billboard200 history.
#7 – My Turn (Lil Baby)
- Units Sold: 53,000 Units
- Last Week’s Position: #5
- Peak: #1 (5 weeks)
Being one of the biggest albums of the year, My Turn still holds the record for spending the most weeks at #1 this year with a gracious 5 weeks. It’s big success is further propelled as it spends it’s 22nd week in the Top 10 after moving an extra 53K units this week and 1,537,000 units in total since it’s release in February.
#6 – WUNNA (Gunna)
- Units Sold: 67,000 Units
- Last Week’s Position: #21
- Peak: #1 (1 Week)
The growing Deluxe culture is more dominant in the hip-hop genre, Gunna is the latest to gain off it. After leaving the top 10 completely about a month back, the release of a Deluxe edition of WUNNA has seen the project return to the top 10 with sales being up by 205%. The boosted sales chewed up 67k units. It is the only album in the top 10 to take a position climb.
#5 – Hamilton: An American Musical (Original Broadway Cast)
- Units Sold: 71,000 Units
- Last Week’s Position: #4

The original broadway cast recording of ‘Hamilton: An American Musical‘ took a 1-position drop this week but still sold a massive 71k units and now spends it’s 27th non-consecutive week in the #Billboard200 top 10.
#4 – Shoot for the Stars Aim for the Moon (Pop Smoke)
- Units Sold: 107,000 Units
- Last Week’s Position: #2
- Peak: #1 (1 week)
Pop Smoke’s posthumous album has not left the top 5 since it’s release. 4 weeks after release, SFTSAFTM is still very much in demand as it sold a sumptuous 107k units this week. It ties Juice WRLD’s “Legends Never Die” album sales figure this week. 607,000 combined units sale since release
#3 – Legends Never Die (Juice WRLD)

- Last Week’s Position: #1
- Peak: #1 (2 Week)
After debuting with the biggest first week sales (prior to Taylor Swift’s ‘folklore’), Juice WRLD’s posthumous project falls back two spots after staying atop the #Billboard200 for two consecutive weeks. A 107K units sale sees it maintain a top 3 stay though. It has sold a total of 766,000 Album Units since release.
#2 – No Pressure (Logic)

Logic’s ‘No Pressure‘ album is one of the only two albums to sell over 200k units this week, alongside Taylor Swift’s ‘folklore‘. With his retirement revelation, Logic bows out with impressive consistency that has seen every of his studio album debut within the top 5 (7 albums).

TAYLOR SWIFT MAKES HISTORY! The surprise factor of Taylor’s 8th studio album didn’t stop it from hitting big. folklore is the biggest first week sale since her own ‘Lover‘ album as ‘Lover‘ also posted the biggest debut since ‘reputation‘. There seems to be a record broken with every Taylor Swift release as she becomes the only artist in Nielson History to have seven albums sell over 500K units in their respective first weeks. Simply Mind-blowing from the American singer.
