New Kid on the Block Spills about to storm the industry.

The Nigerian Music Industry has witnessed a flurry of new artists emerging by the day. It is no surprise as it further highlights the fact that Nigeria is a place filled with talented people especially those gifted with excellent songwriting ability and lyricism. In a music industry as congested as the one in Nigeria, underground artistes come into the limelight almost every week with the release of singles from them; Although not everyone of them are recognised immediately.

Since the beginning of this decade, the rate of artists emerging into the favorite books of the public listeners has increased immensely. One of those artists about that is definitely about to join that train is Spills.

Spills.

Akin Kingsley Gabriel popularly known as Spills, is a native of Ogun State in Nigeria. Spills is an Afro Fusion artist who oscillates among different sounds, although he is regularly found treading the thin borders that separates Pop and R&B soundscapes in Nigeria. He fuses Afropop with little elements of R&B, making his sound a laid back one. His ability to craft a melody for himself remains one of his biggest weapons in his armoury. He regularly creates infectious hooks on his songs that gives his songs a big replay value.

In truth, Spills is a big talent that deserves a listen. His recently released track titled Fast Cars is one of the best from an underground artist this year and it would definitely earn massive airplay and streams if it is pushed more. The track is a well executed track in all manner.

Spills, aka Baddermanflows.

Spills is indeed another rare gem to come into the Nigerian Music Industry. With a little time and more push, the public would soon be screaming his name as the ‘Next big thing’ to emerge in the industry. It would not be surprising to see Spills behind a hit song or even a well acclaimed breakout project come the end of this year.

Spills is definitely ready to take center stage and he is taking it by storm already. Watch out this space in weeks and months to come.
