Gideon Adeyemi, known professionally as PROGEE young vibrant Hip-Hop and fusion artist.

The super-versatile act offers you the typical story. Doing music from church days at a tender age and following through up until now. But there’s something that stood out for Gideon growing up: His Dynamism.

Everytime i do music, people ask me ‘Are you a rapper or singer? What genre of music do you sing?’ My answer to these questions is Neoteric.

Progee on his new EP

Neoteric the EPNeoteric is defined as new, fresh, modern, never seen before. Progee offers something new with his ability to glide seamlessly across a range of productions and style, also the ability to fuse them.

His new EP “Neoteric” is a proper projection of everything the artist PROGEE is all about.

My Music is all about my state of mind, my art, my personality and most importantly my growth process

Intentionality about one’s art is a key factor many artists seeking to break through lack — Not Progee.

This is seen on his 2 previous singles released in previous years “BP” and “Intentional” — Progee is serious about the direction and perception of his art.

A proper Intro opens Neoteric with fans lauding Progee’s dexterity before he comes through with sleek rap bars. A pre-released single but still fresh as ever, Intentional is your mid tempo afropop sound and if it wasn’t on the same EP, you would have a hard time believing it is the same Progee.

Truth offers a more melancholic production with the guitar keys and trappy drums, progee offers lines from a place of pain. Amapiano drums opens track 4 and you already love Life Anthem 10 seconds in.

Quality production and sound engineering remains constant throughout this EP. Frazier is no different, a track probably the pick of the bunch with a 10/10 execution from Progee and featured act, Juninkins. Progee closes out with a powerful track, Real is Razz, which touches heavily on socio-political matters.

Neoteric EP is a complete body of work in every sense of it. Progee is ready to burst out into the scene and this is as good a debut project can be.
