Kaduna-bred Emcee, Tobi alias Tobolos possesses a unique story of one meant for greatness. Writing bars and freestyle rap since the age of 16. An alumnus of the famous Zamani College; a top school in the north. (Known rather famously for producing Global sensation, CKay)

Over the years, Tobolos has been on an adventurous ride. He has earned the position as one of the top underground rappers out of Kaduna with multiple mixtapes and various cyphers features. He has taken his time in following the path of many great and legendary MCs of our time and beyond.
Following a hiatus to finish with college and bagging a law degree, Tobolos felt and knew it was time for the world to feel his fire.
Since the turn of the decade, the rapper has used social media much to his advantage by releasing entrapping and concise bar-filled rap sessions. These videos have caught the attention of many including his long time idol, M.I Abaga. One of his media rap verses titled The Poisoned Chalise even surpassed 1 Million impressions on Twitter alone.

Following the release of his lead single Call Me Back last December, Tobolos is here with his extended play, The Slow Burn.
I am beyond excited to finally be releasing this masterpiece. I look forward to sharing this spectacular output to not only Nigeria but the entire world
Tobolos on his new project
On The Slow Burn, Tobolos offers more of what he offers; Amazing Technique and flow, sick bars and a cohesive theme. All of which is more than impressive but an even more impressive point about this EP is its impeccable production and mixing.
Tobolos adds that “Each track was produced from my core, with every carefully selected words in order to convey the message and emotion of each track”.
The Slow Burn opens with Burn Slow (funny right?), a track that offers what Tobolos is all about and puts questions in your mind. Questions like “Who is this??!!!“. Cosmic Interlude features Moyosola who offers an alluring Spoken word poetry and more questions on your mind.
Adriano displays raw emotions on a hard bass type production, 3 tracks in and it’s 10/10 so far. Tobolos is special for many things, one of those things is his eye for a good feature and a perfevt beat, listen to G.D.R(God doesn’t Remember) featuring Wura to understand. Track 4 is the EP’s lead single, Call Me Back. A letter of apology from Tobolos for going back on a promise. A perfect lead single features Noro with an amazing performance on the hook. On Dracarys, he charges himself and the youth on socio-political issues on a 2-minute straight rap flows.
The super-talented Rapper shows such explosive signs of the promise of hardcore rap coming back to the Nigerian music scene. Definitely an Emcee next on the come-up with all the abilities to become one of the best Rappers on the continent.
