Being an all-round and independent artist is no easy feat but Jesse Kolawole, known by the stage name “OG Swagg” is here to break that cycle as he releases his fourth single in what would seem to be his most explosive year so far in his 10-year musical career. The Kaduna-born act grew up in Lagos and has taken music to be a source of huge inspiration—especially the rap aspect of music.
Prior to this single, the applaudable work rate of Og Swagg had seen him release 3 singles so far this year with ‘Candy Man‘ being his fourth and the lead single off his forthcoming Tape, “Moments“, arriving sometime in December.

The trap drums highlight the Hip-Hop feel to “Candy Man” before Og Swagg confirms this with a punchline-filled rap verse. He taps jhabzz on this one as the featured act went in hard to give a solid hook and an equally solid chorus.

Candy Man tells the popular but entrapping story of a boxed up OG Swagg in a happy place, having crazy fun, all the whilst attracting beautiful women craving candy and other sweet things from OG Swagg, the ‘Candy Man‘.
OG Swagg hits the bulls eye with Candy Man, he ticks all the boxes which includes amazing production, catchy lines resulting in replay value, solid verses with an amazing chorus to go with. If anything, this excites me for the body of work “Moments“, coming from the man next month. Would definitely be bopping this all through the Detty december timeline, you should too.
