Every weekend comes with new music (Singles, features, EPs, Albums) from around the world but count this weekend to be special because it ushers in a new month —OCTOBER.

From around the world and across gemres, here are the top rated projects (Album/EPs) dropping this weekend that you should definitely look forward to. Let’s get to it, shall we?

Simi – Restless II [EP]

At the very start of her ever-blossoming career, Simi released her first Body of work in 2014 which was titled ‘Restless‘ which was an EP that included her covers of songs like Rihanna’s ‘Man Down‘ and Adele’s ‘Fire to the Rain‘.

She has, since then, spoken of releasing a follow up to that EP and we are finally getting it this Friday. Simi announced the follow up to the 2014 project will contain 6 tracks including it’s pre-released lead single “No Longer Beneficial” which has already hit the airwaves with a video coming soon.

She did add a twist to it though when she said this

Metro Boomin X 21 Savage – Savage Mode II [Album]

Another Sequel is on the cards, this time it’s a long awaited second instalment of Metro Boomin and 21 Savage’s Collab project ‘Savage Mode‘.

Savage Mode‘ came all the way back in 2016 and music producer, Metro Boomin revealed a second instalment has been in the works and it came as a surprise when it’s release date was announced to be this very Friday.

This set social media on fire as fans have craved new 21 Savage music for a long time seeing as the Atlanta Rapper had not dropped a body of work since his 2018 Album, ‘I Am > I Was‘.

Niniola – Colours and Sounds [Album]

When you think Niniola, you think bangers in the form of Singles and not a whole Body of work. Oh well, think that way no more! The Afrohouse goddess is set to dish her first album in 3 years—and she’s serving it up this Friday.

Her debut album ‘This is Me‘ arrived in 2017 and featured hit singles including mega jam ‘Maradona‘, ‘Sicker‘, and ‘Magun‘.

Bryson Tiller – Anniversary [Album]

BRYSON TILLER IS BACK!! The R&B act came finally ended his 3-year hiatus when he dropped a deluxe edition of his debut album, ‘Trapsoul‘ last week including three fresh songs and a track featuring The Weeknd. He says it is “Time to focus on the music” as he reveals he has two albums completed but will start with the release of one this Friday and the other in the Fall season.

The album titled ‘Anniversary’ is set to mark the release of his debut project exactly 5 years ago

BLACKPINK – BLACKPINK: The Album

The K-Pop sensations have come to become one of the recent faces of the genre culture. The girl-group have announced the coming of their debut full-length album this Friday and have been frequently releasing promotional photos.

The self-titled album will feature two pre-released lead singles, “How You Like That” and the Selena Gomez collaboration “Ice Cream“.

KillBeatz X King Promise X Ofori Amponsah – Love and Happiness [EP]

The Ghanaian giants are giving us a 4-Track project this weekend, super producer Killbeatz, star singer King Promise and the legendary Ofori Amponsah are record label mates and are dropping a collab. project this Friday. It is set to be Killbeatz first body of work and King Promise’s first since his last year album “As Promised“.
