The Nigerian gospel industry has been on the rise these past couple of years, but the limelight is somewhat still very far away from the supposed goal when compared to their mainstream counterparts. Greatness Obie is here to challenge that narrative.
Hailing from the waterside in Port Harcourt, Obie Boma Pepple took his first steps in the music industry in 2014 with a debut project “Melodic Praise”, a vibrant and joyful 10-song praise medley that cut through different cultures and languages.
He has shared his latest single “Lord Have Mercy”. Still on the melodic side, Greatness Obie delivers a slow-tempo tune with vocals that ask for mercy from the most high. Produced by Aliwhite, there is set to be more music from Greatness Obie as he prepares another EP.
