Rating: 4 out of 5.

Nigeria’s own Spesh OG regards to himself ad “El Trappo” which is translated as “The Trap“. It has always been about the prodigy portraying himself as the future of the rising culture that blends Afrobeats perfectly with the Trap Sound.

The music industry might just begin to get the hang of Spesh’s mission with his newly released song, “Do Mi” which is now available across music platforms. On the run to this, the emerging afrotrap act had pre-released decently performing singles this year including “Do Me Like That“, “Ma’fo“, and “Cheese“.

Do Mi” is a fusion of the instrumentals of Master KG’s “Thsikwama” (Which was included as a bonus track on his Album Jerusalema) and the trap-feel vocals from Spesh OG. The instrumentals of Thsikwama is an Afro-Dance/Electro sound which acts as a suitable canvas for Spesh’s vocals. “Do Mi” is a song that gives us a look into what goes on in Spesh’s head when there are a lot of sexual attractions from the opposite gender while giving the urge to get your dancing shoes on.

A song that would have been a club banger if clubs were opened, and an amazing inclusion for your Music playlist.
