Billboard 200: This Week’s Top 10 Albums – Gunna is Up!

It is a brand new week and as usual, it comes with new developments on the US Official Albums chart – The Billboard 200 Chart. This week sees two Album debuts with Hip-Hop projects dominating the list.

Here’s this week’s Billboard 200 Top 10 albums including details about their longevity and amount of Albums Units moved (In Descension Order):

#10 – Hollywood’s Bleeding(Post Malone)

  • Units Sold: 37,000 Units
  • Last Week’s Position: #8
  • Peak: #1 (5 Weeks)

Post Malone’s Hollywood’s Bleeding spends its 37th week on the Chart’s Top 10, making it the oldest album in the Top 10 and Post Malone’s second longest running album in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 (Surpassing Stoney and still behind beerbongs & bentleys). The Album has sold a total of 2,911,000 units since its release.

#9 – Eternal Atake(Lil Uzi Vert)

  • Units Sold: 37,000 Units
  • Last Week’s Position: #6
  • Peak: #1 (2 Weeks)

This is the Lil Uzi Vert Album with the most amount of weeks on the Billboard 200 Top 10. It Spends its 8th week in the Top 10 by moving a total of 1,130,000 Units since its release. It also had Uzi Vert’s biggest first week debut.

#8 – After Hours(The Weeknd)

  • Units Sold: 40,000 Units
  • Last Week’s Position: #7
  • Peak: #1 (4 Weeks)

This week inclusive, After Hours has now spent ten consecutive weeks in the Billboard 200’s Top 10. Regarded as the Album of the year so far by many, After Hours spent 4 weeks at #1 and sold 444K Units on its first week – No 2020 album has stayed that long at #1 and sold that big in their first week. It has sold a total of 1,012,000 Units since it’s release.

#7 – BLAME IT ON BABY(DaBaby)

  • Units Sold: 42,000 Units
  • Last Week’s Position: #5
  • Peak: #1 (1 Week)

BLAME IT ON BABY is still moving a decent amount of units 7 weeks after its release. The Hip-Hop body of work has sold a total of 359,000 Units since it’s release.

#6 – Dark Lane Demo Tapes(Drake)

  • Units Sold: 48,000 Units
  • Last Week’s Position: #4
  • Peak: #2

A Mixtape, but has a similar commercial performance to an Album. Dark Lane Demo Tapes by Drake is still moving strong a month after it’s surprise release. It has Sold a total of 408K Units within just a month of its release.

#5 – THE GOAT(Polo G)

  • Units Sold: 52,000 Units
  • Last Week’s Position: #2
  • Peak: #2

Polo G scored his first Top 5 Project with THE GOAT, it now spends it’s second consecutive week in the Top 5 after falling back 3 positions from #2. Predicted to be his best selling album yet, THE GOAT has sold a total of 151,000 Units since it’s release.

#4 – Notes On a Conditional Form(The 1975)

  • Units Sold: 54,000 Units
  • Last Week’s Position: Null (Debut)
  • Peak: –

One of the two debuts on this week’s Top 10. The English Alternative Pop band’s last two projects have debuted at #4 while debuting atop the UK Albums Chart too. Notes on a Conditional form is the only the group’s 3rd Top 5 project and the only non-Hip-Hop/RnB in this week’s Top 10.

#3 – High Off Life(Future)

  • Units Sold: 61,000 Units
  • Last Week’s Position: #1
  • Peak: #1 (1 Week)

Last week’s #1 Album slips to #3. The Album is Future’s 7th consecutive number one album in the US and his highest charting album in the UK at #5. Unable to stay at the top longer that a week though, It has sold a combined 214,000 Units since it’s release.

#2 – My Turn(Lil Baby)

  • Units Sold: 65,000 Units
  • Last Week’s Position: #3
  • Peak: #1 (1 Week)

Maintaining its 65K Units sale of last, My Turn is the only project in the only project in the Top 10 that neither dropped or stayed on the same position. In Other words, it is the only album on the rise in this week’s Top 10. This is also Lil Baby’s longest-running album in the top 10 as it spends it’s 13th week – Longer than any other 2020 Album has stayed. My Turn has moved a combined 968,000 Units since its release in February.

#1 – WUNNA(Gunna)

  • Units Sold: 111,000 Units
  • Last Week’s Position: Null (Debut)
  • Peak: –

GUNNA IS UP! Wunna is Gunna’s first ever #1 Album on the Bilboard 200 out of his 7 career albums. The only album to reach 100K Units sale and the second album debut this week (with the 1975’s NOACF).
