Highly Anticipated albums coming this 2020

Happy 2020😊🎉. I’ve not had the opportunity to wish you guys a very happy and splendid new year. It’s a start of a new decade and I indeed hope it’ll be an explosive one for us all.

We’ve already got tons of reasons to be excited about the new year! From the promise of debut projects to already made artists who feel they’ve had enough time to beautifully conjure an album project, to collabo projects that are just simply mind-blowing 🤯

Personally, I’m super-hyped for 2020 and all that it brings particularly because it peaks at the tip of a timeline whereby a lot of amazing artists actually complete their album cycle. The likes of Adele and Rihanna haven’t given us albums in years. Lady Gaga, Selena Gomez, Bieber, Sia.

Get ready to mark your calenders because this is the year where they finally come through with amazing music😀!

In no particular order, here are our picks for the albums to be most excited about this year;

Selena Gomez ~ Rare

Streaming platforms were shook with the back to back release of ‘Lose you to love me‘ and ‘Look at her now‘. The fact that both singles are still doing numbers on charts shows how highly anticipated the ‘RARE’ album is to lovers of Gomez’s music, who haven’t gotten a Selena Project in 4 years.

The wait is finally over!! Rare is coming Jan 10, 2020.

Kesha ~ High Road

You’re the party girl,

You’re the tragedy,

But the funny thing is-

I’m fucki*g everything

Kesha, My Own Dance

Kesha’s Fourth LP ‘High Road‘ is coming January 31, 2020. Don’t adjust whatever you’re reading this on! Kesha is actually back!

We all know how magnificent Kesha is vocally, She’s a strong personality, her ability to mix the soft ballad pop and rap-pop is definitely something to savour.

Lauv ~ How I’m Feeling

Bops of talent here and there all through 2019 only increased our thirst for a solid Lauv project and we are finally getting a 21-song debut album on the 6th day of March, 2020😍😍

Amazing singles off the album (like ‘I’m so tired‘ with Troye Sivan and ‘fuck, I’m lonely’ with Anne-Marie) already depicts the kind of quality we should expect from the large album.

Halsey ~ Manic

Arguably one of the best in the indie-pop world, Halsey’s third studio album ‘Manic‘ is scheduled for January 17.

Manic, Halsey

Without Me‘ and ‘Graveyard‘ are quality singles off the forthcoming album and if anything – shows that we’re in for a treat😊.

She’s described the album as being one that’s bright and colorful – she’s also stated that it is an album about ‘Female Rage‘. We are about to witness a full-blown Halsey and we love to see it!

Tame Impala ~ The Slow rush

Album Art: The Slow Rush

Kevin Parker of Tame Impala has been drip-feeding tracks from the forthcoming record over the course of the previous year.

The title ‘Slow Rush‘ seems the best title for the project seeing as Tame Impala have taken their time in cooking this one out. On February 14? We feast!

Meghan Trainor ~ Treat myself

A Meghan project is long overdue. Originally Scheduled for April 2018, Treat Myself is finally coming January 31.

Meghan is known for her massive Dance-pop anthems that tend not to leave the tip of our tongues. Well, get ready for 15 whole anthems coming on the 31st!

Migos ~ Culture III

Disrupted by the release of Offset’s Solo album in 2019, this is the year where we finally get a project from the founding fathers of trap.

It’s release date is yet to be announced but strong sources have led to believe that it’s coming early 2020. It’s anyone’s guess that a Migos’ project is bound to have an amazing feature list set up – perhaps Offset’s other half, Cardi B😉

Lana Del Rey ~ Violet

The massive success of her Grammy-nominated album “Norman Fucking Rockwell!” hasn’t stopped Lana from producing more magic.

She announced in December that she was set to release a Spoken word project on January 4, but due to the fact that her family endured a recent robbery, she shifted its release date to a month after, February 4.

Hoping everyone had a great New Years, gonna wait for about a month to put out ‘Violet’ since we lost about nine days with everything going on – it’s an interesting project though, looking forward to having it out x,

J Cole ~ The Fall Off

KOD’s follow-up was announced during Cole’s headline set at Day N Vegas festival, backed with a parody of a campaign advert for a politician.

He recently suggested that he would stop doing features on other artists records, this only heightens our eagerness for the coming Cole Project as it could be the only thing we’d hear from him this year.

Rihanna ~ TBA

I’ve not seen an album as anticipated and sought after as Rihanna’s forthcoming album. Is it one album? Rihanna has had enough time to release two albums if we’re being honest🙄🤔

However, after the singer promised R9 sometime in 2019, we remain optimistic that she’ll finally come through with the follow-up to 2016’s “ANTI” album.

Justin Beiber ~ TBA

Even Justin has been looking forward to his forthcoming project highly expected to be dropping this year. ‘Yummy’ which is the First single off the coming album was produced by Poo Bear and doing well statistically.

The album is yet to be titled but it is said to be rumored by fans that it’ll be titled ‘Forever‘ after he tattooed the word on his neck.
